Campanula (Campanula samothracica)

I saw this beautiful campanula when I was hiking in the island of Samothrase in the first days of September. I was nearly at the pick of Saos Mt when I saw it growing from this rock and as there was no kind of flora there we were amazed to see it. For the identification I asked the hepl of the MGS forum and I must really thank the forum members for their quick reply and they believe it is Campanula samothracica (καμπανούλα). It belongs to the Campanulaceae family and so far it has been found only in the island of Samothrace. It has been identified as a new species in 2010 and it syninyms are Symphyandra cretica var. samothracica and S. samothracica.
